About Marina 

Marina Aris is an author, speaker, podcaster, founder of the Brooklyn Writers  Co., and an ambassador for the NYC Authors Guild. Since 2013 she has been encouraging creative people from all walks of life to pursue their passion. As a publishing strategist, she works with authors one-on-one or in small group settings to help them write, publish, market, and distribute their work. Marina is President of the Board at Pen Parentis, an organization helping parent writers continue their writing careers after starting a family. She is also a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi), and the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).
